The N. Lakes, fells, local historic market towns & visitor attractions are all easily accessible from the cottage

Step through the front door, through the hallway and into the country kitchen. Put the kettle on or open a bottle and cosy up in the lounge in front of the warming wood burner. Admire the oak beams, flagstone floor, salt cellar and exposed, thick stone walls.

From the lounge are stairs to the toilet and bedrooms. The bedrooms overlook the front and rear gardens. The rear bedroom and toilet retain their original oak floorboards from when the first floor was added to the original single storey dwelling in the 1800’s. Both bedrooms have integrated power showers stocked with Sedbergh and Bowland Co Soaps and Sanctuary Spa products offering a blissful morning wake-up or soothing end-of-day stimulation.

We’ll provide you with all the linen and bedding essentials. Forgotten some toiletries?…there’s also a range of Out of Eden products to choose from. There’s PG and Yorkshire tea, Wheatleys’ Indulgent hot chocolate and a wide range of condiments, bread and Kellogg’s cereals for breakfast. Choose from a selection of organic, single origin and fair trade New Kings fine coffees, fresh lakeland dairy milks and local dairy butter too. We can also arrange milk straight from the cow if you prefer 😎

You’ll have access to Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, iPlayer and the cottage comes with great Wifi so if needed, you can use the space as a base from which to work from.

The kitchen is equipped with Bosch & Blomberg appliances, including an all important washer/dryer to turnaround your wet kit and the enclosed lawned rear garden contains a patio, fire pit/bbq, hamper (for picnics), outdoor furniture and secure bike store. Why not sit out in the garden and enjoy the evening sun?
